Flattery

Flattery, he moves across kingdoms gracefully and with a smile crumbling fortified walls, medieval castles; seducing maidens. He's rock down the towers of the east, taken freely the maidens of the west and has broken the queens southward. He lay siege  at your walls, day and night and his strategy, words. The euphony of his voice, gracious and silk. Till you open your gates or drop down security on your walls for just whispers from his honeycomb. Then he takes for ruin your city and leaves no spoil.
He is canny in the aspect of war and he loses no soldiers.
When he comes, chew his words but do not swallow. Take gusto the savor of the gum but do not swallow. Don't let it have a dessert of you, spit it out. Enjoy the moment well aware it doesn't last.

God told Adam that when he eats of the apple in the midst of the garden he'll surely die and he did. He was alienated (cut off) from his sou...
